Hadleigh: Perfect Wedding Location on the Suffolk/Essex border

Priory Hall is perfectly placed on the Suffolk/ Essex border for easy access from Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. It is an easy 70 miles from London with good road and rail services. The ancient market town of Hadleigh is in Constable country between Ipswich and Colchester and near Bury St Edmunds.

For overseas guests there’s Stansted Airport about a 50-minute drive away and the ports of Felixstowe and Harwich are only a short drive. It is also possible to land a helicopter in Priory Hall grounds, which extend to 22 acres. Think twice though…. not great for the hair!

The town of Hadleigh lies close to the A12, which joins the M25 to London, and to the A14 which goes towards Cambridge and the M11. Hadleigh is protected from the main tourist routes but is accessible with plenty of parking, including over the wedding night.

The area around this venue on the Essex/Suffolk border is well served with many hotels and guest houses, ranging from modern and traditional hotels and motels to thatched picturesque bed and breakfasts and country houses. Much of the accommodation is just a short drive or walk from Priory Hall.
